James M.
James lost his job during an economic downturn, leaving him homeless for the first time in his life. He turned to Shelter Haven for help and found renewed purpose. Through our job training program, James rediscovered his skills as a carpenter and secured a steady job with a construction company. With housing assistance, he moved into a house regained stability.
Maria O.
Maria and her two children faced eviction after fleeing domestic violence, with nowhere else to go. Shelter Haven provided temporary housing, counseling, and legal support to help her rebuild her life. She now lives in a safe home and works as a nurse, creating a bright future for her family.
